Purpose
The information and communication technologies (ICT) available today, display the field of rehabilitation of an innovative way, and that by incorporating tools such as electronic registration of the study and management of the diseases that endanger the movement of the body human allow for the diagnosis, prognosis and treatment
This initiative support the assistance to rural areas, in addition, the extensive use of the generated images projected on specialized software through videoconferencing from the basic units of rehabilitation staff of the rehabilitation centres, allowing to connect the specialist medical care and avoiding patient transport, reducing the economic cost, the loss of time, dropping labour and neglect of the family among others. The distance is no longer an enormous challenge to facilitate the recovery of patients.
